1 c. cornmeal
2 c. chopped apple
4 c. cold water
1/4 c. raisins
1/2 tsp. salt
STIR cornmeal into cold water, and cook until thick. ADD other ingredients. POUR intobaking dish. BAKE 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350°.
VARIATION: 1/4 tsp. coriander, or 1/4 tsp. anise, or 1 tsp. of vanilla.
